Create a Class

Learning CTR Online offers many options especially designed to allow flexibility in scheduling a weekly class or recitation session. For instance, Home School Consortiums or parent groups can enlist a group of their students to take a class and request a specific day and time. Or individual parents can offer their optimum day and time and Learning CTR Online will do its best to schedule a class during that optimal time frame.

Learning CTR Online only schedules 1 class for each type of course so parents or consortiums can request to "Create a Class" which would run on your schedule.

This applies to courses (Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or Recitation Classes / sessions for any science.

Course OPTION 1:  To Accommodate Individuals

1. Parents should email Learning CTR Online and offer optimum time ranges (day and time) when their student prefers to attend class.

   • Requests must be for Monday afternoon through Thursday.

   • Please use EASTERN Standard Time. 

2. The time requested cannot be for Monday morning or Friday afternoon or during another scheduled class (see the "Courses" tab or schedule below).

3. Learning CTR reserves the right to add more students to your section ... striving to keep the class size small (no more than 5). Learning CTR Online will do its best to accommodate everyone.

4. A registration fee of $100 per student enrolled must be paid within one week of establishing the new class section. The balance of tuition is due before July 1st. See Tuition.

   • The registration fee is applied toward tuition.​

   • The registration fee is non-refundable unless Learning CTR Online has to cancel the class.

5. Recitations Classes for Chemistry and Physics are highly recommended for all students enrolling in those classes. You may "create a class" as well based on an individual or a group. [Click the link]

1. A Home School consortium or Parent Group enlists a minimum of 5 students for enrollment. Learning CTR Online is open to establishing classes with less than 5 students but this may affect tuition cost and class length.

2. The time requested cannot be for Monday morning or Friday afternoon or during another scheduled class (see the "Courses" tab or schedule below).

   • Requests must be for Monday afternoon through Friday morning.

   • Please use EASTERN Standard Time.
